This is a superb Rolex Date automatic watch model with a stainless steel Rolex bracelet, which was made around 1987. This watch is chronometer certified meaning it has passed stringent accuracy test at the observatory in Geneva. The stainless steel case is what Rolex call their 'Oyster' case, which is well sealed against the elements.
The watch has a gold toned dial and handset, this combination of steel and gold metals is something of a signature for Rolex and makes for a very harmonious and elegant appearance. The watch has a date with another Rolex signature, the 'cyclops' window to enlarge the date numeral for legibility.
The movement has been fully serviced and the time keeping is excellent. The case has been ultrasonically cleaned, but not polished and the seals have been replaced. The new seals will give a high level of water protection, but I would be careful to avoid submerging the watch in water unnecessarily. The watch comes with our standard 12 month guarantee.
